  physically attractive, and uncrowded for Dubois County citizens

*Further Develop The County Park area to maximize its use

*Continue assisting the six local park boards by funding and preparing their Park and
  Recreation Plans

Park Description:

5 miles south of Jasper on State Road 162, 1 mile north of the Bretzville Junction

Opened on May 30, 1973.   The Park contains a 2-acre lake and a 3-acre lake.   The Park is adjacent to the 71 acre 4H Fairgrounds. 

The Park contains 32 campsites with pads, electricity, water, picnic tables, grills, 5 shelter houses, 2 restroom facilities, one with shower, 3 barbecue pits, 2 tennis courts, 2 hard surfaced basketball courts, playground areas, baseball/softball field, and 3 horseshoe pits.

The Dubois County Precious Angel’s Monument is located at the Dubois County Park near the 3 acre lake.

Park Board Meetings:

The Park Board meets on the second Tuesday of January, April, July and October at 9:00 a.m. at the Clover Pavilion.   Meeting dates are subject to change.
