Dubois County Veterans' Service Office

The Veterans' Service Office is obligated to inform the veteran of the benefits availible to the honorably discharged veteran and assist the veteran in applying for these benefits.  An important part of these benefits are the health care benefits availible at the Louisville Veteran's Medical Center and outpatient clinics.  There is also a clinic in Evansville associated with the VAMC at Marion, IL.

The office is also responsible for the coordination of the Disabled American Veteran's van that is housed at the Dubois County Security Center.  The two vans are donated by the county veterans organizations and by local contributions, as well as the national D.A.V.  The two vans are driven by volunteer drivers to the clinics and V.A. Hospitals as necessitated by the appointments of the veteran.
