County Voter Information
The deadline for voters to register for the November 4th General Election was October 6th. To verify registration status and address, please call the clerks office (812) 481-7035 or visit indianavoters.com. Anyone who is registered may participate in early voting. Absentee voting for the November 4th Election begins on Monday October 6th on the third floor of the Dubois County Courthouse. Hours are from 8AM-4PM Monday through Friday, and untill 6PM on Wednesdays. Absentee voting will also be held on Saturdays, October 25th and November 1st from 8AM-3PM. Early voting will end at 12PM on November 3. A current photo I.D. is needed in order to cast a regular absentee ballot. Voters wishing to vote absentee by mail must request an application for absentee ballot from the clerks office. The ballot must be recieved by the county by midnight on Monday, October 27th, to be counted. LEGAL NOTICE OF PUBLIC TEST In accordance with IC 3-11-14.5, the Dubois County Election Board will conduct a public test on electronic voting equipment and automatic tabulating equipment that will be used in the counting of absentee ballot cards in the November 4, 2008 general election. The public test will be held in the office of the Dubois County Clerk at 11:00 a.m. on October 2, 2008.
