Veterans Service Office
The Veterans' Service Office is is here to inform the veteran of the benefits available to honorably discharged veteran and assist the veteran in applying for these benefits. An important part of these benefits are the health care benefits available at the Louisville Veteran's Medical Center and outpatient clinics. There is also a clinic in Evansville, IN associated with the VAMC at Marion, IL.
The office is also responsible for the coordination of the Disabled American Veteran's van that is housed at the Dubois County Security Center. The van is donated by the county veterans organizations and by local contributions, as well as the national DAV. The van is driven by volunteer drivers to the clinics and VA hospitals as necessitated by the appointments of the veteran.
